From: Judy Subject: Re: A call for help Date: 23 December 2019 at 19:42:30 GMT "If you want a feel-good story for the Christmas season, know this:- At 5.30 this evening a request was sent to help out a Syrian family newly arrived to spend Christmas in the UK, in Weybridge, as their home was bombed and their children’s lives at stake. Their roof leaked, the leak was fixed but the bedroom running with damp! Within two hours a dehumidifier was offered, collected, delivered installed and explained (to a family experiencing damp for the first time). Politics aside, when called upon, we’re a pretty strong, compassionate, pragmatic, good bunch! Thank you Caroline, Jeremy, Claudine and Eva and all! Judy"
