RIVER USERS GROUP 8 (RUG8): SUNBURY-SHEPPERTON REACH

The River Users Group is a method of encouraging communication and cooperation between river users and the river authorities. The part of the Thames that runs from Bell Weir Lock to Teddington Lock comes under RUG region "8" or "RUG8" – each reach and region of the Thames is numbered.

The reaches from Sunbury Lock up to Chertsey Lock are coordinated by Sarah Clarke with Thames Valley Skiff Club on the Sunbury reach (Reach 3) of the River Thames.
